The concept behind the Nascent Journal is a focus on shining a spotlight upon young, otherwise unpublished fiction authors. Each zine, released three times a year, contains a selection of carefully curated works of short fiction and features a custom-designed cover styled as vibrant, fantastical shadow boxes.
